Great for oil changes etc... staff is friendly. Just drive up for oil change don't make appt

Terrible service. I am businessman in this community and prefer to keep my service needs local. The "no appointment necessary" is false and the attention to detail and service is some of the worse I have encountered. I brought my vehicle (a mini van that I purchased from V and H) in for transmission service. When I pulled up I was told that they could not do it today because it is a 2 hour job (even though it is clearly listed as one of their services on the board) and would need to schedule something for the next day, which I did. I dropped my vehicle off at 8 am. I called at 2pm and was told it was not done yet (this was a 2 hour job right?). Eventually it was completed. When I brought the vehicle home I was soon surprised by a massive leak of transmission fluid on to my concrete. This is not an exaggeration. The leak was so bad that I could smell the fluid from outside of my garage. I immediately called (it was now after hours) and left a message. My call was returned the next morning and I returned the van right away (Saturday). I was told by Russ (who is a very nice person) that after looking at the pan the service tech did not perform the task correctly and failed to seal the pan properly. He was very apologetic and only offered "mats" to soak up all of the fluid at my home (and of course fix the issue). Once again I woke the next day to a leak. I called again and explained the issue and asked that they provide me with a similar vehicle while they again corrected the issue. As a coach for the Special Olympics I needed my vehicle to transport athletes to an event and this was going to interfere with that commitment. It took 4 days for them to call me and provide me with a "loaner" vehicle. The loaner was a basic model Van that was a dirty mess!!! It looked like it had been driven off road. The INSIDE of the windshield had dirt on it…DIRT. When I went back inside (again on a Saturday morning) to ask the woman at the desk if I could run it through their car was...she gave me such a negative attitude as if I was asking her to clean it herself... she did get the wash slip for me... but it certainly wasn't to display her intentions of good service. Now the Finale, I just received a call from them telling me that now the issue is some lines running to the transmission and not the pan that was included in the service. (OH REALLY!?...now that thats the issue after you had it on the lift 3 times to fix your problem) and... the lines are so back ordered that they don’t know when they could even get them,. What a mess my decsion to bring my vehicle here for servcie has become... and to this day not a single person from this dealership has made any effort to represent their owner's (whom I respect) vision of service at a level that can even be considered appropriate for any industry. I am embarrassed that this can happen to someone in my community. I hope that single mothers and other military veterans in my community are not treated the same as I have been. There have been multiple opportunities to resolve this issue amicably and the service provider has made little effort to ensure my satisfaction. It is only after three attempts that I am now writing this review. While all stories have two sides and this is just my interpretation of what happened to me... I encourage you to simply ask others around about their experiences here. I was surprised that others who I have told about my experience were NOT surprised. Almost all of them shared a similar story of poor service. It's too bad that a business with this much presence in a community has not taken the time to ensure that all of their staff are representing them at the highest level possible.

I recently scheduled an oil change at V & H Quick Lane for my fiancee's car. I had planned on dropping the car off myself and picking it up. Plans changed when I found out I had a prior engagement. This meant my fiancee would have to go by herself. I figured "it's just an oil change, what could go wrong".

It was again a very pleasant experience. Keep up the good work V&H.

I did not call for an oil change until 2:00 this afternoon. I got there about 4:45, 15 minutes early, and they got the Mustang in right away.

I am sure they started licking their chops and took out the bull**** book as soon as they saw her walk in the door. Please don't refer to the owner-posted/fake review from "Marshfieldresident". I can smell bull**** a mile a way and V & H Automotive is full of it.

I enjoyed a cup of cappucino and caught up on some reading and watched some TV.

We went there to get AN OIL CHANGE. It frustrates me beyond belief that there are STILL people in this world that take advantage of uneducated people.

****UPDATE*** I recieved a call from the GM today as a result of my concerns. He was professional and really displayed a true sense of desire to do the right thing. He apologized for the folly of errors. I really appreciated the call. My Van is still in the shop but I am going to assume that it will now be well looked after.

She dropped the car off and everything was going as planned, but when they finished, they then decided to haggle her into buying other services. I absolutely cannot stand business/people who do this. They were directly taking advantage of a woman with little car knowledge. They told her one of her reverse lights was out- and it would be $8 to fix. They then said that she might get a ticket for having a light out. Sure, she could get a ticket, but I doubt she'd get a ticket on the 10 minute ride home while driving forwards. I can buy the light for a buck fifty at Walmart. It's ridiculous how they pressured her into saying yes to it. She then texted me and told me about what was happening and I told her to say no to everything. They then followed up by telling her she needed to have her tires adjusted (she didn't remember what exactly, but I assume rotated/balanced).

Consistently a 2 hour wait for an oil change.
